Home Sweet Home

Dear friends,
 

We invite you to join us at the event that has given children a “Home Sweet Home” since 1999!  With venue costs covered generously by our title sponsor—Second Presbyterian Church— the event this year has the chance to meet the rising needs of families going through homelessness, and support Family Promise’s response.

 

The calls for shelter to the organization have tripled in the past two years—now at 30 families per day—but so have the services.  Family Promise was hosting eight families in early 2020 through its shelter program, but now is sheltering 24 families at a time and helping 20 more families in Diversion.  This expansion is wonderful, but creates an annual need to expand the Family Assistance Fund of Family Promise to support those families.  To do that, we invite you to attend…

Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

Tickets: $85 in-person, $10 virtual

The event begins with an open wine/beer bar sponsored by Sun King Brewing and Big Red Liquors, while dozens of silent auction items and a wine pull are available for bid.  After a delicious plated dinner, the event then culminates with a testimony from a family successful in a FPGI program and a gourmet dessert auction presented by Major Tool & Machine.  Virtual attendees can tune in at 7:30pm for the 60-minute program component, including exclusive interviews only seen by at-home audiences.
